Murray holds a Bachelor of Business (Tax and Business Law) from Curtin University and the following professional qualifications:

• Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants
• Fellow of the National Tax & Accountants Association
• Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants
• Registered Tax Agent
• Registered ASIC Agent

Since 1982 Murray has been the principal of his own public accounting firm focused on small and medium sized enterprises and has also held various equity, directorship and executive positions in private companies, including being a past founding shareholder and director of:

• Quantum Housing Group, an appointed Approved Participant of the Federal and Sate Governments initiated National Rental Affordability Scheme.
• A pioneering, on-line business matching and equity finding matching business that provided assistance to financial services enterprises.
• A major West Australian vineyard and winery business that achieved substantial export sales.  This experience gave him a first hand and direct understanding of complex business structure and development of an unlisted public company that grew in ten years from an asset base of $750,000 to $10 million when as Managing Director, he negotiated the sale of the business.

Murray has also undertaken corporate restructuring engagements for various east coast based, large scale agribusiness entities and advised on complex taxation audits involving foreign jurisdictions and currencies.

As well as being an accomplished property developer, Luke has over 20 years' experience in the resource sector, principally in operations management and project management.  Luke was formerly the Director of Housing Supply for Quantum Housing Group and lead a team to deliver over 1200 dwellings into the Scheme in WA and Queensland.  Luke is a tertiary qualified project manager, registered business agent and member of the Australian Institute of Management.
